Toyota Hilux 2025 will have a new name when it launches in Southeast Asia

On December 23, 2024, Toyota quietly registered the trademark copyright "HILUX TRAVO" with the Intellectual Property Office of Thailand (DIP). This move shows that the new generation Toyota Hilux will soon be available in Thailand with a completely new interface of the same name. However, it is likely that the name "Hilux Travo" will only be available to the Thai market. The 2025 Toyota Hilux will have a significantly changed exterior compared to its predecessor. Especially in the front and rear areas.

The front of the car stands out with a rectangular grille, honeycomb pattern, accompanied by the word "Toyota" in the middle instead of the familiar Toyota logo. On both sides of the grille are sharp headlight clusters, integrated LED daytime running light strips. The front bumper of the car is designed to be larger, with a wide central air intake and small fog lights. It is expected that the new Toyota Hilux will still use the same diesel engine as the previous generation, but will be upgraded to meet Euro 5 and Euro 6 emission standards. It is possible that the car is also equipped with an electronic power steering system.
