Honda HRV 2025 Review
The new generation Honda HR-V has just been unveiled with a facelifted appearance from the inside out, promising to be "sold out" in many markets and is one of Honda's ace models in the near future, making other competitors wary.
Luxurious, breakthrough exterior
The 2025 Honda HR-V has a very attractive exterior design, with the e:HEV version of the entire front of the car being more elevated, the inverted trapezoidal grille with large horizontal spokes somewhat similar to the grille on the Mazda CX8. Particularly, the Urban and Casual versions have a dense embossed diamond-shaped grille, giving a more luxurious feeling.

The taillights with a very beautiful curved 3D graphic design combined with a sharp taillight strip extending all over the sides are quite similar to typical luxury cars such as Porsche Panamera, Macan, etc. The rear bumper protrudes markedly with a prominent silver paint color, adding to the sturdiness.

Engine
The 2025 Honda HR-V has 2 options: a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC gasoline engine and a hybrid gasoline-electric hybrid engine, in which the gasoline engine has a capacity of 1.4L combined with an electric motor for the rear axle. However, in Vietnam, the 2025 Honda HRV is only equipped with a 1.5L gasoline engine.
With the power of the gasoline engine producing a maximum power of 96 horsepower, the maximum torque reaches 132 Nm, the electric motor gives a maximum power of 106 horsepower, the maximum torque is 254 Nm. Both engine options use a CVT continuously variable automatic transmission, front-wheel drive or full-time 4-wheel drive. The car is also equipped with 3 driving modes: Eco, Normal and Sport.
